Job responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on the sales floor to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory levels are maintained and replenished as needed.
- Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep the team informed and engaged.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
Job requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar managerial role in the retail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
