Responsibilities - Manage the end-to-end securities settlement process, including clearing, fund transfers, and position delivery. - Ensure settlements are accurate, timely, and compliant with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Singapore Exchange (SGX) regulations. - Oversee client funds and accounts, performing reconciliation and resolving discrepancies promptly. - Handle inquiries from clients, internal teams, and external counterparties to support seamless operations. - Monitor settlement systems to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. - Collaborate with technology and compliance teams to enhance settlement processes and systems for improved efficiency and risk control. - Prepare daily and monthly settlement reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes. - Support system user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate system fixes or enhancements. - Assist in ad hoc projects related to operational improvements or regulatory compliance. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in securities settlement or operations. - Strong knowledge of settlement systems and regulatory requirements; experience with SWIFT, SGX, or Euroclear systems is highly preferred. - Fluency in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication and coordination skills. - Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Familiarity with risk management and process optimization in financial operations. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
