Job responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports. - Perform data entry and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system. - Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. - Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including verifying and processing payments. - Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial operations. - Support the finance team during audits by providing necessary documentation and information. - Monitor and maintain proper filing systems for financial documents and records. - Perform other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager. Job requirements: - Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. - Good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax requirements is an advantage. - Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn.
