We are seeking a detail-oriented PMO (Finance) professional to support client's finance transformation initiatives for a global organization. This role will be responsible for driving project governance, financial oversight, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery of finance-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain PMO standards, best practices, and methodologies for finance projects. Monitor timelines, budgets, performance, and risks to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial tracking. Assess project viability, ROI, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and business teams. Communicate updates effectively to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Maintain a consolidated view of finance-related projects, prioritize initiatives, and deliver dashboards and reports to leadership.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and resolve project-related issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or PMO roles within a finance function.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills for financial tracking and analysis.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
