The Role: The Industrial Attachment Officer plays a pivotal role in bridging academic learning with real-world industry experience, guiding students through internships, career planning and professional development. The officer will ensure students are well-prepared, confident, and future-ready for dynamic career landscapes. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, develop, and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders in the Business, Engineering, Hospitality and Logistics sectors. - Source, coordinate and manage industrial attachment placements, ensuring alignment with academic objectives and industry standards. - Match students to suitable opportunities based on their academic background and interests. - Prepare students for internship success through briefings and one-on-one guidance. - Serve as the main liaison between students and employers, resolving issues promptly. - Conduct site visits and gather feedback to ensure a meaningful learning experience. - Maintain accurate records of placements, evaluations, and employer feedback. - Prepare reports on internship outcomes and industry engagement activities. - Organise career talks, employer sharing sessions, and networking events. - Work closely with academic departments to align internship opportunities with curriculum needs. Requirements: - Diploma or Degree in Business, Education or a related field. - At least 2 years of relevant experience in internship coordination, career services or industry engagement. - Familiar with student or placement systems is an advantage. - Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive, organised and passionate about student internship and career development. - Proficient in Microsoft Office.
