Legal Aid Volunteer – Hengyang Rights Aid Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide free legal consultation to marginalized communities.
- Support case documentation for public interest litigation.
- Conduct legal research on human rights protection frameworks.
- Assist lawyers in preparing case materials.
- Participate in community legal education workshops on topics such as labor rights, gender equality, and disability rights.
- Help maintain client intake records and ensure confidentiality.
- Collaborate with partner organizations on advocacy campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Background in law (LLB or above); fresh graduates are welcome.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Commitment to social justice and human rights.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; English proficiency is a plus.
- Experience or interest in NGO/nonprofit work.

- This is an in-person volunteer position based in Hengyang, Hunan Province.
