About the Company: - Diversified real estate management company. - Manages a 23-storey mixed commercial building in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. - Involved in niche real estate developments, hospitality, and leisure investments. About the Job: The Group General Manager (Group GM) will: - Provide strategic leadership and commercial direction across the Group’s diversified business portfolio, including retail chains, shopping mall operations, property investments, and petrol stations. - Focus on business development to drive sales growth, enhance profitability, and optimize operational performance across all business units. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the group’s businesses and investments. - Drive business growth, profitability, and long-term value creation across real estate, hospitality, and leisure divisions. - Oversee financial performance, cash flow management, and capital allocation across all business units. - Develop, implement, and monitor business strategies, budgets, and performance plans to achieve group objectives. - Identify, assess, and pursue new investment opportunities, partnerships, and joint ventures to expand the group’s portfolio. - Strengthen relationships with investors, business partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders. - Ensure strong corporate governance, compliance with statutory requirements, and adherence to company policies. - Oversee operations of key assets, including commercial buildings, boutique developments, and hospitality properties. - Mentor and build high-performing management teams, driving performance, accountability, and operational excellence across all business units. - Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to ensure the group remains competitive. - Champion digital transformation and innovation to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. - Represent the company at external functions, industry events, and professional associations. Key Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). - At least 10 years’ experience in a Senior Management position, with proven track records in Business Development/Expansion and P&L Management in retail or shopping mall industries. - Strong business acumen and operational knowledge of Commercial Facilities (Mixed development, Retail, and Shopping Mall). - Proficient in English & Mandarin, both written and spoken. - Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Strong analytical skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
