Safety Strategy Operations Specialist (Trust & Safety) – Global Location: - Singapore Function: - Trust & Safety / Risk Operations / Platform Integrity Level - hiriing multiple levels, open to experienced individual contributors About the Role: Our client is a rapidly growing global consumer internet platform serving hundreds of millions of users across content, community, e-commerce, and advertising ecosystems. As the platform expands internationally, ensuring content safety, user protection, and regulatory compliance across diverse markets is critical. This position is part of the Trust & Safety (T&S) team, focusing on risk monitoring, incident response, and operational strategy optimisation. You will play a key role in safeguarding platform integrity, identifying emerging threats, and driving scalable risk governance frameworks across global markets. Key Responsibilities: - Risk Monitoring & Early Warning Systems - Monitor platform risks and establish risk detection and early warning mechanisms. - Ensure major risks are identified promptly and responded to rapidly and effectively. - Incident Response & Cross-Functional Coordination - Coordinate cross-functional resources to manage risk incidents, including policy-violating content, abnormal account behaviour, and malicious or organised abuse (e.g., black-hat activities). - Drive efficient and structured incident response processes. - Risk Strategy Execution & Operations Optimisation - Collaborate closely with moderation and review teams to implement risk governance strategies at the operational frontline. - Continuously optimise operational workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of risk mitigation execution. - Risk Analysis & Continuous Improvement - Analyse risk data and operational metrics to identify emerging risk patterns and trends. - Evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement of platform risk governance capabilities. Requirements: - Education - Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline. - Preferred backgrounds: Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Law, Public Administration. - Relevant Experience - Minimum 3+ years of experience in internet risk control, fraud prevention, Trust & Safety operations, content moderation, or related operational roles. - Risk Domain Knowledge - Familiarity with content safety risks, common violation types, and malicious/black-hat tactics (e.g., fraud, abuse networks). - Hands-on experience handling complex risk scenarios. - Analytical & Execution Capability - Strong data analysis capability and operational drive. - Ability to work under pressure and drive initiatives from strategy to implementation. - Language & Global Collaboration - Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus. - Able to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and global teams. Nice to Have: - Experience in Trust & Safety operations, risk operations/fraud prevention, or anti-cheat/abuse mitigation. - Experience collaborating with policy teams, moderation/review teams, outsourced vendor teams, and cross-border/global teams. - Participation in risk governance projects or safety/integrity initiatives on internet platforms or content communities.
