Job Description – CFO
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for listing matters, including but not limited to approving financial statements, public information, pricing, IPO, and roadshows.
- Establish financial rules that align with the development of overseas business by coordinating between companies and regions.
- Oversee the financial management of regional companies in each country, including:
- Financial team management
- Operation management
- Budget supervision and management
- Track and analyze the completion of financial indicators and budgets, providing timely disclosure and early warning of potential operational and management issues for senior decision-making.
- Participate in major company decision-making, offering forward-looking warnings and measures regarding finance, capital, risk control, and policy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance and economics.
- Over 10 years of experience working for top-tier investment banks or technology corporations.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in leading the IPO process, with a successful track record in M&A deals (including pre- and post-investment management) and US stock listings.
- Experience as a CFO or Chief Investment Officer in US-listed fintech companies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, strong influence, and negotiation skills.
- Possess a global mindset and cross-cultural leadership capabilities.
Employment Details:
- OPay is considering engaging a third-party agency for local employment in the US. (Note: OPay does not currently have a legal entity in the US, but Kunlun Group does. This CFO role will be hired under OPay.)
Work Location:
- If based in the US, the candidate can work from home approximately 60-70% of the time and work in the OPay Singapore office for about 30-40% of the time.
Ideal Profile:
- US citizen with investment banking experience and previous CFO experience in a fintech company.
