Responsibilities
• Lead the Group Finance function across a multi-entity, asset-intensive business environment, covering performance management, cost control, cash and working capital management, corporate finance, treasury, tax planning, budgeting, internal controls, and governance.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership by providing financial insight, scenario analysis, and guidance for operational and commercial decision-making.
• Work closely with business units operating across different geographies and value-chain segments to enhance financial performance, support growth initiatives, and ensure long-term business resilience.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, operational efficiency, and internal control frameworks to support large-scale production and supply chain activities.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, enforce cost discipline, and monitor operational KPIs relevant to manufacturing and volume-driven businesses.
• Manage liquidity, capital structure, and funding requirements to support ongoing operations, capex projects, and expansion plans.
• Oversee investment governance, including capex evaluation, IRR tracking, post-investment reviews, and capital allocation in an asset-heavy operating environment.
• Support corporate finance initiatives such as fundraising, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships; lead due diligence, financial modelling, negotiations, and deal execution.
• Recommend efficient and sustainable legal entity and tax structures suited for cross-border trading, processing, and supply chain operations.
• Ensure strong alignment with corporate headquarters on reporting, policies, and strategic priorities.
• Develop finance capabilities across the organisation, including mentoring and building a strong finance bench.
• Participate in long-term strategic planning, risk management, and resource allocation for the Group.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related. CPA, CFA, MBA are preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant finance experience, ideally from manufacturing, commodities, or other asset-heavy industries with regional or global operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role partnering closely with operational and commercial heads.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in financial management, process controls, cost and cashflow management, and performance monitoring.
• Proven experience in management reporting, compliance, cross-border tax matters, and legal entity structures.
• Exposure to corporate controllership, treasury, banking, corporate finance, and M&A in large or multi-geography organisations.
• Comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments involving production, trading, logistics, and supply chain activities.
