Data Centre Enterprise Sales Director (IC – Hunter Role)

About the Role We are seeking a high-impact Enterprise Sales Director to drive revenue growth for our Data Centre (DC) solutions. This is a pure individual contributor (IC) hunter role, focused on acquiring new enterprise clients, opening strategic accounts, and building long-term partnerships across the data centre ecosystem. This role requires a commercially driven, entrepreneurial leader who understands the full DC landscape—including colocation, cloud, hyperscalers, network providers, and enterprise infrastructure—and can translate that into tangible business opportunities. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • New Business Acquisition (Hunter Focus) o Identify, develop, and close new enterprise opportunities for data centre solutions o Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → solutioning → negotiation → closure o Build a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and market engagement • Market Expansion & Strategy o Drive go-to-market strategies to position DC solutions across key verticals o Penetrate untapped markets and establish new revenue streams o Act as the “tip of the spear” in entering new territories or segments • Ecosystem Engagement o Leverage existing relationships across hyperscalers, telcos, system integrators, and enterprises o Build and maintain strategic partnerships within the data centre ecosystem o Collaborate with internal teams (solutions, product, delivery) to craft compelling offerings • Client Advisory o Engage C-level stakeholders to understand business and infrastructure needs o Position data centre solutions (colocation, hybrid cloud, interconnectivity, etc.) as strategic enablers o Provide consultative, value-based selling rather than transactional sales • Revenue Ownership o Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and KPIs o Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting o Drive deal structuring and pricing strategies for complex enterprise deals ________________________________________ Requirements • Experience o 10–15+ years in enterprise sales within data centre, cloud, or infrastructure solutions o Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets in a hunter role o Experience selling into large enterprises, hyperscalers, or regional/global accounts • Ecosystem Knowledge o Strong understanding of the data centre ecosystem:  Colocation providers  Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)  Network carriers & IX  Managed services & system integrators o Established network of decision-makers within the industry • Sales Capability o Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex, high-value deals o Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills o Experience in solution-based, consultative selling • Mindset & Traits o Entrepreneurial mindset with a “build-from-zero” attitude o Highly self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented o Comfortable operating with ambiguity and minimal structure o Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience in launching new markets or building a sales function from scratch • Background working with fast-scaling or high-growth organizations • Familiarity with regional data centre markets (APAC experience is a plus) ________________________________________ Why Join Us • Opportunity to build and shape market presence for a growing DC solutions business • High autonomy with direct impact on revenue and strategy • Competitive compensation with strong performance incentives • Work alongside industry experts in a rapidly evolving digital infrastructure space ________________________________________
